Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chauen.

The day begins with the sunrise over the dunes, then after breakfast we will drive down through the palm groves of Rissani and Jorf along the Ziz River, then continue via the Ksar of Touroug and its surrounding oasis. After passing through Tinejdad and Tinghir, stop to walk through Todra Gorge prior to lunch. In the afternoon, you pass through the Valley of Roses in the Dades Valley (especially spectacular in May) before arriving at Ouarzazate for the night.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Talouet – Marrakech

Today’s drive to Marrakech crosses the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, at 2,260 meters. A detour along the way leads to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The route continues to Telouet to see the former kasbah of the Glaoui Pasha of Marrakech, then climbs back over the pass, with sweeping views across the Haouz plain, before descending into Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech, full day

This day is entirely devoted to the visit of Marrakech, the town that lent its name to the entire country.
