Your journey begins in Tangier, a city that has long been a cultural crossroads between Europe and Africa. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide who will take you on a tour of the city. You’ll visit the Kasbah Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Moroccan art and artifacts, and the famous Grand Socco Square, where you can watch the daily bustle of local life. After lunch, you’ll head to the Caves of Hercules, where you can marvel at the stunning rock formations and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Today you will leave Tangier and head to the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted buildings and quaint streets. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the town, visit the Kasbah Museum, and take in the stunning mountain views that surround Chefchaouen.
Today you’ll visit the stunning Akchour Waterfall, located just outside of Chefchaouen. The hike to the waterfall is moderate, but the views are absolutely breathtaking. After a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water, you’ll head back to Chefchaouen for the night.
Today you’ll leave Chefchaouen and head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. You’ll visit the impressive Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Heri es-Souani granaries. From Meknes, you’ll continue on to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, where you can explore the well-preserved ruins and learn about the city’s fascinating history.
Today you’ll arrive in Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Your guide will take you on a tour of the city, including the historic medina, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, one of the oldest universities in the world. You’ll also have the chance to visit the tanneries, where you can see how leather is made using traditional methods.
Today is your second day in Fes, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city on your own. You might want to visit the Dar Batha Museum, which houses a stunning collection of traditional Moroccan arts and crafts, or take a cooking class and learn how to make traditional Moroccan dishes.
Today you’ll leave Fes and head to Midelt, a town nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. You’ll have the chance to enjoy the stunning mountain views and visit the local souk, where you can browse for handmade crafts and souvenirs.
Today you’ll travel to Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. You’ll have the opportunity to take a camel ride into the desert and watch the sunset over the sand dunes. You’ll spend the night in a traditional desert camp, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to traditional Berber music.
