You will stay in a traditional Riad or hotel before starting on another exciting excursion.

Day 2: Rabat-Meknes-Volubilis-Fes:

On the second day of our 8-day vacation from Casablanca, you will explore Rabat. The Kasbah des Oudaias and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V will be visited. After breakfast at your riad, you will begin exploring Fes, Morocco’s “Spiritual City.” You will spend the entire morning exploring the Medina and its alleys, seeing most of the important cultural and historical sites, including the world’s oldest mosque and university, the Medrasa Bouanania, the tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, we’ll transport you beyond the Medina to see the entrance to the Royal Palace, walk through the Jewish district “the Mellah,” and then visit a pottery cooperative. Day 4: Fes-Azrou-Midelt-Ziz valley-Merzouga:

After breakfast in your riad, follow the caravan routes to the southeast and travel to Merzouga. The tour offers views of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. The largest Cedar Forest in Morocco is located in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you could find Barbarian monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, continue into the vast open high desert, watching how the landscape transforms as you approach Er Rachidia and reveals desert qualities. Your journey proceeds through the verdant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm plantation, which is well-known for its production of dates. This region is where the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family of Morocco, was founded. Merzouga will be reached at the appointed time. To be welcomed with a cup of mint tea upon arrival to your riad in the late afternoon.

The magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, which differ with the light as the day goes on, should not be dismissed en route. After breakfast and a shower in your riad, depart for Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges, the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha gorges. After lunch in the valley, we’ll proceed into the Dades Valley, where you’ll see magnificent sandcastles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” There will be a hotel or riad with a view of the Dades Valley for overnight accommodations.

Day 6: Dades Valley -Ait ben Haddou -Marrakech:

After breakfast, we will travel to Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazat via the Dades Valley. We will stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as “the city of roses,” to get rosewater, which will keep your linens scent fresh for the duration of your journey. Continue through Ait Benhaddou Kasbah to reach Marrakech. The Kasbah, which was built in the 18th century by one of the last Berber chieftains, Et Hami El Glaoui, now houses a large Glaoui family. Your journey will continue via the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains until you reach your destination.
