posticon 12 days Morocco Sahara tour

12 days Morocco Sahara tour from Casablanca overview:

Our 12 days Morocco Sahara tour includes camel riding over the Erg Chebbi dunes, passing the Atlas Mountains, learning about the Arabic and Berber cultures, and walking through the spectacular and filled souks of Marrakech, Fes, and Ouarzazate. Our leisurely one-week trek follows coastal paths to the picturesque city of Essaouira. Even though you will be visiting multiple destinations, you will travel slowly. It is sufficient that you will be able to appreciate the sites (rather than merely photographing them and departing) and that you will have sufficient time to truly experience the Moroccan way of life.

12 days Morocco Sahara tour itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca-Rabat:

We begin our 12 days tour from Casablanca by welcoming you at the airport. Depending on the time of your arrival, our driver will transport you on a brief tour of the city, during which you will see the Cornish and Hassan II mosques, the third-largest mosque in the world. We will proceed to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where you will have the opportunity to see the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah before traveling to your Riad/Hotel in the middle of the medina.

Day 2 : Rabat – Asilah – Tangier:

After breakfast on the second day of our 12 days tour of Morocco, we’ll drive from Casablanca to Tangier, passing through Asilah. The majority of the trip will be made along the coast. Asilah is known for its yearly art festival, during which famous artists from around the globe decorate many of Medina’s structures. Your trip includes the Skalla fortification, which offers a breathtaking view of the Medina and the sea. If time allows, you will have a drive-through of Tangier. You will have free time to explore the souk’s colorful and aromatic streets and purchase a souvenir. Spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad.

Day 3: Tangier-Chefchaouen:

You will have afternoons to yourself. This allows you the freedom to wander unguided or simply appreciate your solitude. Overnight in the same riad.

Day 4: Chefchaouen-Volubilis-Meknes-Fes:

After breakfast, you will travel via Volubilis to reach Fes. This Roman site contains exquisite mosaics from the third century B.C. that were made in Morocco.
