Itinerary:
Day 1: Casablanca-Rabat-Roman Ruines at Volubilis- Meknes-Fes:
Your Moroccan driver will pick you up at the airport and drive you to Fez via Rabat and Meknes. In Rabat, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah des Oudaias will be explored. In general, you will explore the best of Rabat before proceeding to Meknes, the second regal metropolis of Morocco. The Bab Mansour Gate and the adjacent medina will be visited. Additionally, there is Lahdim Square, a relatively small copy of Jemaa el Fna.
Then you visit the adjacent Roman ruins of Volubilis, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site and a large, worthwhile complex. Historically, Volubilis was a significant and prosperous Roman metropolis. Ultimately, your trip to Fez. Overnight in Riad/Hotel.
Day 2: Fes sightseeing:
After breakfast at your riad, begin on an exciting tour of the Medina, where you will discover numerous hidden gems that only locals know about. Fes was the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years, and it is home to the world’s oldest operating university, the Institution of Al Karaouine. The Tanneries, the Nejjarine Fountains, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum are included in your guided tour.
After lunch, you will view the exterior of the Royal Palace and travel through Mellah, Morocco’s historic Jewish enclave, where you may be able to see one of the country’s remaining synagogues. We will go out for a drink in the afternoon in the new city. Spending the night in the Riad.
The magnificent dunes of Merzouga signify the start of the enormous Sahara Desert. We leave our car and ride a camel for an hour and a half into the desert to a Berber camp, where we watch the sunset and sleep in Berber tents under the starlight. Gather around the fire after dinner to appreciate the desert night while listening to traditional Berber drumming.
Day 3: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz valley-Merzouga
From Fez, you will go to Merzouga. This will be a magnificent tour into the center of the Sahara, where camels and Berber culture will await you as you explore Morocco from an entirely new perspective. You will depart Fez at 8:00 a.m. and travel to Ifrane, the first city, the following day. You stop there to take photographs and admire the sites of this beautiful city.
Your journey continues via the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. There, camels will take you to the Sahara desert’s center. During the trip, you will be entertained by a stunning sunset as the sun’s shapes meet the golden Merzouga dunes. After an hour-long camel journey, you reach the location where you will spend the night. You will spend the night dancing and listening to Berber music under the starlight.
Day 4: Merzouga -Todgha Gorge -Dades Valley
After a chaotic night, your guide will wake you early the following morning to view the desert sunrise. Then, before taking a camel excursion away from the dunes, you will have a Berber breakfast in your luxurious yurt. The camels will transport you back to Merzouga, where a new journey begins. The magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, whose appearance changes as the day progresses, will be appreciated on the way back.
You will depart for Morocco’s deepest defile, Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra. There, you will have brunch and explore the surrounding area. After that, you will travel to Dades Valley, where the “monkey toes” sandcastles and rock formations will leave you speechless. The accommodations for the night will be a traditional deluxe guesthouse with a view of the Dades Valley.
Day 5: Dades Valley -Ait ben Haddou -Marrakech
Our private tour continues towards Ait Ben Haddou’s most notable attractions. As you travel through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, you take pleasure in the slow tempo of life. The primary attraction is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the most famous Kasbah in Morocco. Since the 11th century, it has been an important spot for filmmakers and producers from all over the globe. Numerous movies and television shows, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones, utilized it as a backdrop. If you trek up to the hilltop granary for a panoramic view of the surrounding area, you will have the best view. As you cross the High Atlas Mountains, the conclusion of your Morocco vacation comes. Day 6: Explore Marrakech
After breakfast at the riad, take a guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s “Red City,” in the morning. Your journey will include the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian monuments, the magnificent Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School, among other historical and cultural landmarks.
