Discover the diverse landscapes and rich culture of Morocco with our 12-day tour that takes you from the bustling city of Marrakech to the serene beaches of Essaouira and the vast expanse of the Sahara Desert.
Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and explore the city on your own.
On your second day in Marrakech, explore the city’s famous attractions, including the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square. In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant.
After breakfast, leave Marrakech and head to Essaouira, a charming coastal town known for its whitewashed buildings, colorful boats, and fresh seafood. Spend the afternoon strolling along the beach, browsing local markets, and enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of this picturesque town.
Take a full day to explore Essaouira at your leisure. Visit the historic medina, see the iconic Skala de la Ville, and relax on the beach. Don’t miss the opportunity to try some of the best seafood in Morocco.
Depart Essaouira and head to Agadir, a popular seaside resort city. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at your hotel, lounging by the pool or exploring the city’s beaches.
Take a day trip to the nearby Sous-Massa National Park, known for its diverse flora and fauna. You may even spot some of the park’s resident Barbary macaques.
Depart Agadir and head to Taroudant, a fortified town located in the heart of the Souss Valley. Explore the town’s ramparts, souks, and traditional Moroccan architecture.
Travel through the scenic Atlas Mountains to Taliouine, known as the “saffron capital of Morocco.” Learn about the cultivation and production of this precious spice and sample some of the delicious saffron-infused dishes.
Drive to Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Experience the breathtaking scenery of the Draa Valley, and enjoy a camel ride to a traditional Berber camp, where you will spend the night under the stars.
Leave Zagora and travel to Merzouga, home to some of the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Explore the desert on a 4×4 tour and enjoy a sunset camel ride. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp.
Depart Merzouga and head to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah, and see where movies such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed.
Return to Marrakech, where your tour ends. Depart for the airport or continue your travels in Morocco.
