Exploring Fes
Welcome to our 10-day Morocco Tour Itinerary from Casablanca, an amazing journey that will take you through some of the most iconic destinations in the country. Our tour is designed to offer you an authentic Moroccan experience, where you can immerse yourself in the culture, history, and traditions of this beautiful North African country.
Your tour will begin in the vibrant city of Casablanca, where you will be met by our local representative at the airport. We will take you to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. Later in the day, we will take a tour of the city, visiting the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and the Old Medina, where you can experience the bustling souks and markets.
After breakfast, we will depart for the capital city of Rabat, where we will visit the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. We will also explore the charming streets of the old medina and learn about the history and culture of the city.
Today we will head to the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. This picturesque town is famous for its blue-painted buildings and stunning mountain scenery. We will take a leisurely walk through the old town, admiring the beautiful architecture and soaking up the laid-back atmosphere.
On day four, we will drive to Fes, the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. We will explore the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will see traditional crafts, such as pottery, textiles, and leatherwork, being made. We will also visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, one of the most stunning examples of Islamic architecture in the world.
We will spend another day in Fes, visiting the Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the oldest universities in the world, and the Dar Batha Museum, which houses a collection of traditional Moroccan arts and crafts.
Today we will drive to Merzouga, a small village on the edge of the Sahara desert. We will ride camels through the dunes to reach our desert camp, where we will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and music under the stars.
After a memorable night in the desert, we will drive to the Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon in the Atlas Mountains. We will hike through the gorge, admiring the towering cliffs and the crystal-clear river that runs through it.
We will leave Todra Gorge and drive to Ouarzazate, a city that has been used as a location for many famous movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. We will visit the Atlas Film Studios, where we will learn about the history of filmmaking in Morocco.
Our next destination is the vibrant city of Marrakech, where we will visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Bahia Palace. We will also explore the colorful souks and markets, where you can buy souvenirs and local crafts.
Our tour comes to an end in Marrakech, where you will have some free time to explore the city on your own. We will transfer you to the airport for your flight home, with unforgettable memories of your journey through Morocco.
