The 8 Days Tour From Casablanca to Imperial Cities includes visits to majestic cities, the Sahara desert, and charming villages. In addition, the trip includes stays in Fez and Marrakech, two of the most attractive cities in Morocco. In addition, you will camp in a lovely tent in the desert and ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Erg Chebbi is a welcoming place to visit if you’re looking for a desert excursion. Finally, you will explore ancient kasbahs, chill in an oasis, and discover Morocco’s lively historical locations.
The driver will greet you at the airport and take you on a sightseeing trip of the Mosque of Hassan II. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will then visit the main attractions of Casablanca before proceeding to Rabat.
Rabat is an imperial capital featuring a number of institutions and monuments. It is also the capital of Morocco. You will stay in a traditional Riad or hotel before starting on another exciting excursion.
On the second day of our 8-day vacation from Casablanca, you will explore Rabat. The Kasbah des Oudaias and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V will be visited. In general, you will explore the best of Rabat before proceeding to Meknes, the second royal town of Morocco. The Bab Mansour Gate and the adjacent medina will be visited. Additionally, there is Lahdim Square, a miniature replica of Jemaa el Fna.
Then you visit the adjacent Roman ruins of Volubilis, which are a UNESCO World Heritage site and a large, worthwhile complex. Historically, Volubilis was a significant and prosperous Roman city. Finally, your day tour concludes in Fez, and the driver will get you to your hotel or Riad.
After breakfast at your riad, you will begin exploring Fes, Morocco’s “Spiritual City.” You will spend the entire morning exploring the Medina and its alleys, seeing most of the important cultural and historical sites, including the world’s oldest mosque and university, the Medrasa Bouanania, the tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, we’ll transport you beyond the Medina to see the entrance to the Royal Palace, walk through the Jewish district “the Mellah,” and then visit a pottery cooperative. In the afternoon, we will transport you to one of Fes’ strongholds for a panoramic view of the entire Medina. The night will be spent in the same riad.
After breakfast in your riad, follow the caravan routes to the southeast and travel to Merzouga. The tour offers views of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. The largest Cedar Forest in Morocco is located in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you could find Barbarian monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, continue into the vast open high desert, watching how the landscape transforms as you approach Er Rachidia and reveals desert qualities. Your journey proceeds through the verdant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm plantation, which is well-known for its production of dates. This region is where the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family of Morocco, was founded. Merzouga will be reached at the appointed time. To be welcomed with a cup of mint tea upon arrival to your riad in the late afternoon.
Your camel guide will get you up early in the morning so that you can witness what may be the most magnificent sunrise of your life. Camel’s journey will take you to the Merzouga village. The magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, which differ with the light as the day goes on, should not be dismissed en route. After breakfast and a shower in your riad, depart for Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges, the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha gorges. After lunch in the valley, we’ll proceed into the Dades Valley, where you’ll see magnificent sandcastles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” There will be a hotel or riad with a view of the Dades Valley for overnight accommodations.
After breakfast, we will travel to Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazat via the Dades Valley. The Way of a Thousand Kasbahs, which gets through Dades Valley, offers plenty of chances to capture some of your trip’s finest photographs. We will stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as “the city of roses,” to get rosewater, which will keep your linens scent fresh for the duration of your journey. Continue through Ait Benhaddou Kasbah to reach Marrakech. The Kasbah, which was built in the 18th century by one of the last Berber chieftains, Et Hami El Glaoui, now houses a large Glaoui family. Your journey will continue via the stunning Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains until you reach your destination.
After breakfast at the riad, start on a morning guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s “Red City.” Your tour will include visits to the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian monuments, the magnificent Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School, in addition to other historical and cultural sites. Before arriving at the famed Jamaa El Fna Square, conclude the morning with a wander through the medina’s alleyways, where you can observe numerous artists at work. Lunch at a restaurant near the piazza, followed by a visit to the Majorelle Gardens and a brief exploration of Gueliz, the newest area of Marrakech. After lunch, you can stroll through the square and be entertained by pranksters, storytellers, toothpullers, and food trucks. Your riad will serve as your overnight accommodation.
After an early breakfast in your riad, we will transfer you to the Casablanca/Marrakech airport for your return departure. Your 8 days from Casablanca tour conclude at the airport.
