We begin our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech at 8 a.m., crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and Cedar Forests on our way to Midelt. We pass by Ifrane, a beautiful ski resort, and Azrou, a major craft community specializing in cedar woodworking. When we arrived, we will stop in Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon, we will travel to Erfoud and into the desert. The hotel is located close the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Sahara.
We spent the second day of our 4-day trip from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga in the Sahara. With a guide, tour After breakfast, we will travel to Khamlia village to listen to Gnawa music, then continue on an off-road route to explore the dunes before pausing for a cup of tea at a Nomads tent , they make use of Berber camps. We will proceed to the Dades gorges via Rissani, pausing in Erfoud, a town known for its petrified marbles, to visit a facility that creates fossilized marble. We travel to Ait Benhaddou, a “fortified kasbah” on the ancient trade route between Marrakech and the Sahara. Located on a hill overlooking the Ouarzazate River, it’s made up of several inhabited kasbahs. Several movies, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones, have featured the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
