Our 10 days from Casablanca itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca-Rabat:

On the first day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca, we will meet you in Casablanca and take you to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. In Casablanca, you can visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque outside of Mecca, and the Cornish coast. We will then travel to Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah prior to checking in to your riad in the Medina. Overnight accommodation at a riad with breakfast included.

Day 2: Rabat-Meknes-Volubilis-Fes:

Our 10-day tour will proceed from Casablanca. Following breakfast at your riad, you will travel to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco regarded as the Ismaili capital, is home to the iconic Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. 

After lunch, continue to Volubilis, a Roman city with well-preserved original mosaics, a Roman road, and a city plan. We will pause for photographs at the Holy City of Moulay Idriss as we travel through the Moroccan countryside. In the late afternoon, you will arrive in Fes and move into your Medina riad. Staying the night in a riad.

Day 3: Fes sightseeing:

The third day of our 10 days tour from Casablanca has finally arrived. After breakfast at your riad, embark on an exploratory journey through the Medina, where you will discover numerous hidden treasures known only to the locals. Fes was the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the Institution of Al Karaouine, the world’s oldest operational university. 

Your guided tour includes the Tanneries, the Nejjarine Fountains, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, you will view the exterior of the Royal Palace and wander through Mellah, Morocco’s famous Jewish quarter. Spend the night in Riad.

Day 4: Fes-Azrou-Midelt-Ziz valley-Merzouga:

After breakfast in your riad, follow the caravan routes to the southeast and travel to Merzouga. The tour offers views of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. The largest Cedar Forest in Morocco is located in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you could find Barbarian monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, continue into the vast open high desert, watching how the landscape transforms as you approach Er Rachidia and reveals desert qualities. 

Your journey proceeds through the verdant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm plantation, which is well-known for its production of dates. This region is where the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family of Morocco, was founded. Merzouga will be reached at the appointed time. To be welcomed with a cup of mint tea upon arrival to your riad in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Explore Merzouga:

After breakfast at the riad on this special day of our 10-day Morocco tour from Casablanca, you will start your exploration of the region. You will visit the Gnawa people, who were transported from Sudan as captives, in order to learn about their culture and music. 

You will also visit the souk in Rissani, a historic village that was the beginning of Morocco’s ruling dynasty and a trading point for caravans traveling to Mali’s Tombouctou. There are many hooded men and veiled women present. Return to the Merzouga village for some rest and leisure before building your camel and exploring the Merzouga sand sea with the assistance of an experienced camel man. Our desert place will serve as our overnight accommodation.

Day 6: Merzouga -Todgha Gorge -Dades Valley:

Your camel guide will get you up early in the morning so that you can witness what may be the most magnificent sunrise of your life. Camel’s journey will take you to the Merzouga village. The magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, which differ with the light as the day goes on, should not be dismissed en route. 

After breakfast and a shower in your riad, depart for Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges, the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha gorges. After lunch in the valley, we’ll proceed into the Dades Valley, where you’ll see magnificent sandcastles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” There will be a hotel or riad with a view of the Dades Valley for overnight accommodations.

Day 7: Dades Valley -Ait ben Haddou -Marrakech:

After breakfast, we will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazat. The path through Dades Valley is known as the Way of a Thousand Kasbahs, and it provides numerous opportunities to capture some of your most memorable travel photographs. We’ll make a stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as “rose city,” to buy rose water, which will keep your linens smelling fresh long after your journey is over. 

Continue to Marrakech via the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains of the 18th century, built the Kasbah, which is now home to a large number of Glaoui people. Your journey will continue across the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) in the High Atlas Mountains before arriving at your Marrakech hotel for the night.

Day 8: Explore Marrakech:

After breakfast at the riad, start on a morning guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s “Red City.” Your tour will include visits to the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian monuments, the magnificent Palace of Bahia, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School, in addition to other historical and cultural sites. Before arriving at the famed Jamaa El Fna Square, conclude the morning with a wander through the medina’s alleyways, where you can observe numerous artists at work. 

Lunch at a restaurant near the piazza, followed by a visit to the Majorelle Gardens and a brief exploration of Gueliz, the newest area of Marrakech. After lunch, you can stroll through the square and be entertained by pranksters, storytellers, toothpullers, and food trucks. Your riad will serve as your overnight accommodation.

Day 9: Day trip to Essaouira:

After breakfast at your riad, you will depart for Essaouira, a Moroccan coastal city. We arrived after a 2.5-hour journey and immediately began traveling the city. As you make your way through the medina’s alleys, you’ll see the Skala Fortress, carved Thuya wood, and countless handicrafts. Surfers from around the globe crowd to this “City of the Wind.” 

Essaouira has been influenced by numerous civilizations, most notably the Portuguese conquest, which has left a lasting mark on the city’s architecture, but it is still a small community involved in history. Due to its grandeur, distinctive blue entrances, and whitewashed walls, it is also known as the “Jewel of the Atlantic”The return to Marrakech will occur in the afternoon. Spend the evening in the riad.

Day 10: Marrakech-Casablanca:

After an early breakfast in your riad, we will transfer you to the Casablanca/Marrakech airport for your return departure. Your 10 days Casablanca tour concludes at the airport.
