Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech-High atlas mountains-Ouarzazate-Dades Valley:

We start our 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga by taking you from the airport, hotel, or riad of your choice. We will pause along the route to take in the breathtaking scenery as we travel through the High Atlas Mountains. In addition, we will cross Tizi n Tichka, a mountain pass. Its greatest point could reach up to 2260 meters, so secure your seatbelts.

Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which is less than 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate, will be our first destination. It is the most prestigious landmark in the south. The Kasbah is a typical southern home from the 17th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring this village, we will proceed to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa. The next stop is Kalaat Mgouna, also known as Rose City, which is known for its blossoms and yearly stages of a beauty pageant. Overnight in Dades.

Day 2: Dades valley-Dades gorges-Tinghir-Merzouga:

On day two of our 3 days Marrakech to Merzouga. After breakfast, we go on an adventure to the Todra Gorges, where numerous rock climbers come to engage in their liked activity. After a hike through the Todra Gorges, we continue the journey along the ancient Bedouin trade routes that run parallel to the Middle Atlas, passing through a number of fortified communities with breathtaking pre-Saharian architecture.

The magnificent dunes of Merzouga signify the start of the enormous Sahara Desert. We leave our car and ride a camel for an hour and a half into the desert to a Berber camp, where we watch the sunset and sleep in Berber tents under the starlight. Gather around the fire after dinner to appreciate the desert night while listening to traditional Berber drumming.

Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Nkoub – Ourzazate – Marrakech

The following morning, wake up and enjoy a delicious meal for breakfast while viewing the beautiful sunrise. After that, drive to Marrakech via a different route return, passing Alnif, Tazarine, Nkoub, and Agdez on the way, then continue to Ouarzazate and take the Tizi n’Tichka through the High Atlas Mountains. 4 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour overview:

The 4 days Marrakech to Fes desert tour is an excellent way to travel between the two imperial capitals as well as the country’s far south; the three overnights allow you to spend more time touring attractions and less time in the car. In addition to the camel ride and a night in the desert, you will have the chance to visit a variety of beautiful locations and fascinating scenery, such as Telouet Valley, Ait Benhaddou village, Ouarzazate, Valley of Roses, Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, the cedar forest with its playful monkeys, Ifrane town, and many more.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – High atlas mountains – Ouarzazate – Dades valley:

At 8 a.m., a reliable driver will transport you from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains via Tizi Tichka (2260m) on a 4 days private desert tour. Along the route, you will pause to take in the scenery and visit the Argan oil cooperative. After breakfast at a local restaurant, enjoy the afternoon visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Then proceed to Dades Valley via Rose Valley. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 2: Dades valley – Dades gorges – Tinghir – Merzouga:

The second day begins with a visit to the Dades Gorges, followed by a drive across the Dades Valley’s colorful Berber settlements along the route of 1000 kasbahs. to reach Tineghir, which has a lovely palm grove. We’ll continue to the Todgha Gorge, where we’ll take a hike through canyons that are about 300 meters deep, a popular spot for mountain climbers. After that, we’ll go to the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara desert, stopping for lunch along the route. Overnight in a tranquil environment at the slopes of the Erg Chebbi Sahara dunes in a hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga sightseeing tour and Camel ride

To learn more about the area, we start our journey through it. Experiencing the music and lifestyle of the former Sudanese slaves with dark skin color. Merzouga Lake, with its population of flamingos, is close by.
In the afternoon, ride a camel through the odd sand sea of the Erg-Chebbi desert, accompanied by an expert camel man. Depending on your choice, you will spend the night in camp either under the starlight or in a traditional Berber nomad camp. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast are included.

Day 4: Merzouga – Errachidia – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Hike the dunes early in the morning to catch the breathtaking sunrise, then take a shower and eat breakfast. Then, drive through Errachidia, Midelt’s Ziz Valley. Before reaching Fez, we get to Azrou to see barbary monkeys and a cedar forest, we will pause in Midelt for lunch. We will then travel to Fez via Ifrane. Our guide will accompany you to the Riad or hotel of your choosing. Your trip concludes in Fes.
